Last year alone, DeLois and her team produced more than $47 million in closed transactions. As a Certified Residential Specialist®, DeLois focuses on families who are relocated to the Hattiesburg area…something she and her family did in 1972. As a REALTOR® Broker Associate, DeLois has nutured her team of professionals to meet the needs of those buying and selling homes, for a total of 221 transactions in 2011. DeLois has been inducted into the Better Homes & Gardens Hall of Fame, has been named one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women, and has been selected Hattiesburg’s Best REALTOR® by public vote. She is a member of Temple Baptist Church, while her husband, Lavon, is a longtime member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. Together, they dedicate a substantial amount of time supporting the ministry of Kindness International, which is teaching Christian morals and ethics through the public school systems in Russian and the Ukraine.

Adam Watkins, Broker Associate & Listing Partner, spends a large portion of his time meeting with sellers who desire a comprehensive plan for marketing their property and with buyers upon special request.
He also is responsible for the strategic direction and planning of The DeLois Smith All-Star Team, Inc., having joined the team in 1999. Adam holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from William Carey University with emphasis in Finance/Economics and Communication. Additionally, he has earned and maintains the industry designations of CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate REALTORS Institute). Adam routinely lists property for sale throughout the Greater Hattiesburg Market, with additional emphasis in the Petal market where he and his wife, Amelia and daughter, Abigail, reside. Amelia works alongside Adam in the business and serves as the company’s Financial Manager and as a Closing Manager. Beginning in the industry at a young age, has afforded Adam many accomplishments within the past decade including serving as President of the Hattiesburg Area Association of REALTORS in 2008, as well as Southern District Vice President and Treasurer of the Mississippi Association of REALTORS. In 2008 he was chosen by the National Association of REALTORS as one of the “Top 30 under 30“ a selection of 30 leading REALTORS practicing throughout the United States under the age of 30. The Hattiesburg Area Association of REALTORS honored Adam as Hattiesburg’s REALTOR of the Year that same year. As a community leader, he serves on various boards and advisory groups and is a member of the Area Development Partnership and the Petal Area Chamber of Commerce. Adam enjoys activities that improve community such as investing time and energy into his local school system as well as traveling to destinations near and far with his wife, family and friends. They are active members of Carterville Baptist Church in Petal.

After 27 years teaching experience, she began her real estate career in 2000. Brenda has participated in numerous conventions, seminars, certified residential specialist courses, and advanced buyer, seller training by Star Power University. She is wife to Michael, and mother to daughters, Breanne and Lindsey. She is a member of Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg and enjoys traveling, decorating, and investing time in her family.

Linda has been a licensed Realtor since 1978 and has worked in the real estate and mortgage banking industry since her career began. Linda has managed residential and commercial properties, worked as a mortgage loan officer and now enjoys a satisfying career in sales. She is knowledgeable in the area market and draws on her experience to help her clients find their perfect home. Linda holds an ABR designation (Accredited Buyer Representative) and has attended team and advanced buyer specialist training. As a part of her outreach to buyers and sellers she hosts home buying and selling seminars with a local mortgage lender. This venue offers the latest mortgage and real estate marketing trends in order to help the client make informed home ownership decisions. Linda and her husband Harvey enjoy a close fellowship with their two grown children and their families who live in the area. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University in Industrial Technology and is married to wife Lisa and has three children: Robyn, Brett, and Logan. He especially enjoys his children’s accomplishments. His two oldest were voted most likely to succeed in senior years of high school. He is an active member of Petal-Harvey Baptist Church.

Sharon holds experience in the banking industry, as well as customer service, and was a teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic School for four years. She is wife to Michael, Sr., and mother to Michael, Jr., Edward, Christopher, Helena, Sybil, and Margaret. Sharon attends St. Thomas Catholic Church.

As our Closing Coordinator, Elizabeth is the go to person for questions or help, whether buying or selling. She orchestrates contracts, necessary inspections, and preparations for easy closings. Elizabeth has 30 years experience in residential and commercial real estate, lending, and title insurance. She is currently finishing her B.S. in Religion at Liberty University and has been accepted into the Master’s program for Theology and Religous Education. Elizabeth is married to Sonny, with 4 children and 1 grandchild.

Despite his age, his wealth of experience brings a fresh new perspective to The DeLois Smith All Star Team, REALTORS® marketing department. Joel was raised in Hattiesburg, went to college at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and has now returned. Even when he is not at work, Joel is still drawing, writing, filming, or playing the mandolin.
